Activity Camp ( Ages 10-16 )
 | The region is well-known as an exceptional area for a multitude of activities. There is something for everyone and the aim of this programme is for campers to get to know each other, learn about Austria and enjoy learning new skills and/or improving existing ones.
This Mountain & Lake Adventure Camp features multi-activity programmes for 10-16 year olds geared around a broad range of sports, mountain and lake activities. In the mornings, campers follow a pre-set programme permitting them to sample a wide range of activities. Instruction as well as play is included in all activities.
Participation in each activity is based on the age and skill level of each camper.
Campers in specialist programmes will also have the opportunity to join in other activities in the afternoons and everyone takes part in the camp film production.

German Language Camp ( Ages 10-16 )
 | The emphasis is on fun while learning German the VILLAGE CAMPS way. Normally, mornings are devoted to language experiences. The guiding principle is gaining proficiency in speaking and comprehension. In all, there are 30 hours of practical instruction per session. Language campers will be encouraged to use their German throughout the day, whatever the activity. Fun supervision (yellow cards, 'football-style') will be given to campers "caught" speaking their own languages and not German! Don't get the red card...
It's all a fun way of learning a language.
Assessment is continuous. An appropriate individual certificate is awarded at the end of camp and a written report is sent to each parent
Additionally, Language Campers will be taking an active part in the Film Academy. While participating in both the language workshops and the multitude of activities on hand, they will enjoy being part of the film being produced by Film Campers. So enjoy the time while also potentially becoming known film stars. Ahh......but to dream!
In the afternoons, campers from all programmes join together for a mixture of planned and elective activities from the many available. And, of course, there is a full day excursion to Salzburg

Film Camp ( Ages 10-16 )
 | Film Director Ed McDougal produced and directed a number of award winning films, including "The Prodigy" and "Dog Jack" which were released nationwide through Blockbuster in the United States. Ed has conducted yearly seminars in screenwriting and film production since 1985 and has traveled worldwide giving filmmaking seminars.
What an exciting, unbeatable opportunity! Campers are taught the technical side of filming, production, editing and special effects. Together with a talented director they are involved in selecting a script, modifying a story board, casting, locating scenes, shooting, editing and dubbing. The cast will consist of all Village Campers present.
Traditionally, mornings (and, at times, afternoons and evenings) are devoted to the film activity. Using the group creativity an existing script will be modified, locations investigated, campers interviewed to determine interest and enthusiasm. This is a camp with great enthusiasm throughout, and it is often very difficult to separate our producers from their tasks.
Our technical film director has many years experience and is a fun person to be around. The results are unanimously appreciated, and parents are pleasantly surprised when they see the home video.
The afternoons are devoted to a choice of other activities, when campers finally tear themselves away from their cameras and computers (all IMACs with first class editing capabilities).
