 | What a rare and exciting opportunity: the perfect introduction to residential camp for youngsters, perhaps away from home for the first time.
Throughout the day, experienced, caring counsellors guide young campers through a magical programme of specially adapted activities from the list below. Under constant supervision by counsellors with infinite patience offering plenty of instruction, youngsters learn many different activities, some of which may become part of their future lives. With tender guidance and loads of fun, kids develop a taste for new ideas, sports and making new friends.

Activities and Excursions
The following activities are typically available to all campers at Leysin:

On Saturday, there are a number of excursions on offer and on Sunday everyone relaxes at camp enjoying the facilities in and around Leysin.
Excursion choices typically include :
** Geneva and the Red Cross Museum.
** Montreux and the Château de Chillon.
** Lausanne and the Olympic Museum.
** Bern.
** Martigny and Labyrinth Adventure Park.
Accommodation
All camps except the SuperCamp take place in the historic Grand Hotel (currently home of Schiller University). Self-service meals are taken in the large dining room and a popular barbecue is held during each session. Bedrooms have two to five beds, all with en-suite facilities and balconies overlooking the Alps. Campers are assigned to rooms according to age and gender and a counsellor is responsible for taking special care of the campers in each room.
Facilities in the spacious hotel include well-equipped classrooms, indoor activity areas, arts & crafts room, tuck shop and disco. Outside areas include table tennis, volleyball and street basketball. This camp welcomes a maximum of 180 campers per session
Most days are divided into four activity periods. For English/French Language, Multi-Activity and Tennis Camps , two of these periods are devoted to the specific camp activities. During the other two periods, all these campers join together and can choose the activity they participate in from the vast selection available. Evenings are filled with imaginative games, spectacular events and relaxing activities
