 | With 30 hours of intense, but fun, enjoyable instruction in each two-week session, campers concentrate on mastering conversation - both speaking and comprehension. Highly trained and experienced teachers/counsellors oversee this successful and worthwhile camp experience. This unique and highly acclaimed fun approach leads to greater camper progress than in classic language "schools".
During this highly rewarding experience, language campers are encouraged in fun, challenging ways to utilize their English or French throughout the entire day and evening , not only during classes. This insures better progress and means the children returning home will speak and understand English or French more effectively.
Assessment is continual. A certificate is awarded at the end of camp and a written report is sent to the parents.
In the afternoons, campers from all programmes join together for a mixture of planned and elective activities from the many available.

Throughout the day, experienced, caring counsellors guide young campers through a magical programme of specially adapted activities from the list below. Under constant supervision by counsellors with infinite patience offering plenty of instruction, youngsters learn many different activities, some of which may become part of their future lives. Tennis Camp ( Ages 10 - 17 )
 | Three hours each day are devoted to tennis drills, lessons and play on both our covered and clay courts. The renowned California Tennis Academy directs the overall programme along with top pros and highly qualified counsellors. Emphasis is on conditioning, strokes, tactics & strategy, both in doubles and singles. Players are divided by age and ability, of course.
Tennis players are initially appraised and rated, and then taught at their appropriate levels. The talented tennis staff and even some top local players will be giving campers of all levels some tough matches and exercises.
TENNIS & LANGUAGE CAMP
This camp combines a practical language experience with the tennis programme, structured so that campers have three hours of language tuition (French or English) in the morning and three hours of tennis instruction (in French or English) in the afternoons. Please note that this option requires a 300 Euro supplement!
Price EUROS 2800.00 (tennis+language)
After the exhausting tennis, there are a mixture of planned and elective activities from the many available as campers join others from the Activity Camps.

Activities and Excursions
On Saturday, there are a number of excursions on offer and on Sunday everyone relaxes at camp enjoying the facilities in and around Leysin.
Excursion choices typically include :
** Geneva and the Red Cross Museum.
** Montreux and the Château de Chillon.
** Lausanne and the Olympic Museum.
** Bern.
** Martigny and Labyrinth Adventure Park.

Most days are divided into four activity periods. For English/French Language, Multi-Activity and Tennis Camps , two of these periods are devoted to the specific camp activities. During the other two periods, all these campers join together and can choose the activity they participate in from the vast selection available. Evenings are filled with imaginative games, spectacular events and relaxing activities
Accommodation
Campers stay at the the newly acquired Village Camps' Alpine Learning Centre. The centre has spacious, ensuite bedrooms for 3-4 campers, lounges and play areas as well as excellent dining facilities. The campus is well situated just above the main village and close to its excellent sport and leisure facilities. Excursions to interesting Swiss towns such as Geneva, Montreux and Bern are part of the camp experience. These include a variety of sports including archery, tennis, mountain climbing, beach volleyball as well as evening shows, challenges and much more.

A typical day includes breakfast, workshops, lunch, adventure activities and dinner. Evening activities include discussion forums and game- type situations, discos, magic performances and movies, before free time. The weekend includes accompanied excursions to destinations throughout Switzerland. All instruction and course materials will be in English.
